  • Our Approach

Our approach to teaching art is child-centered. We believe that each child is unique and that they learn in their own way. We provide a variety of materials and activities that allow children to explore their creativity in their own way. We also provide opportunities for children to collaborate with each other and to learn from each other.

  • Who We Serve

Our program serves low-income families, people of color, immigrant communities, and young people by providing access to quality art instruction and materials in the Richmond, California community. We involve local artists, educators, and community members in the program to provide input and feedback on the project as well as offering opportunities for participation in the program and future program planning. We strive to build relationships with local artists, educators, local business, corporate sponsors, and non-profit organizations to ensure that our programming is relevant to the local community.
